What does Europe Direct - IPE Modena do? EVS: European Voluntary Service Europe Direct - IPE Modena promotes EVS for the local area, in the double role of sending and hosting agency for volunteers. What is it all about? EVS is an alternative educational instrument, a unique experience to learn foreign languages and cultures. The only restrictions are: to be 18 to 30 years old and be resident in a EU country. Europe DIrect - IPE Modena is supported by an ex-EU volunteers association from Modena: "Going to Europe" Help Desk for Youth Are you member of an association interested in taking part to an exachange with foreign associations? Or are you part of a youth group that need funds to promote your own project or idea? The EU Youth Programme should satisfy your request. The Youth Programme promotes international exchanges between youth associations, voluntary experiences abroad and youngsters' gropus projects. The Help Desk is the concrete tool to propose and present your project, and it has been created thanks to the cooperation of Progetto Europa (EU projects service in the city). Educational and Job Opportunities Abroad A wide gamma of option and modalities to go and work or study abroad is available thanks to the EU efforts to promote this experience for all the young people interested in. Furthermore a big chance to enrich your curriculum vitae and your own life experience. Students can take advantage of the Socrates, Erasmus and Leonardo projects, for example, or apply to the Youth in Action Programme, for those between 13 and 30 years old. In the whole continent a new disciple has been taking place in studies: European Studies, you can find here a huge database of links on how and where to follow this alternative and rare study experience, new PhD and MA thus to choose from. Job opportunities come instead from a multiple choice variety of training and job experiences abroad, at European Union Institutions for example or taking advantage of the EURES database.
